New School Building Completed as Part of CSR Initiative

We are excited to share our success story, a remarkable project supported by our colleagues at Carclo India. This initiative commenced in November 2023 and was successfully completed in March 2024.

Strategically situated just 3 km from the Carclo factory, the new school provides direct benefits to the local community. The building features three classrooms and a library that also serves as a teachers' room, accommodating up to 15 children per classroom and supporting a total of 45 local children.

The design of the new school emphasizes simplicity, functionality, and a conducive learning environment. It incorporates sustainable features such as rainwater harvesting systems for effective water conservation and energy-efficient LED lighting.

At the heart of our design is a commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, with ramps installed for children with physical disabilities. The installation of fans throughout the building enhances natural ventilation, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere for all.

We prioritize hygiene with measures in place to maintain a clean and sanitary learning environment. The surrounding green spaces not only beautify the premises but also purify the air, contributing to a healthier ecosystem for the children.

Inspired by the clean lines of the Farnsworth House, our design strikes a balance between modern aesthetics and practicality. A window jali wall in front of the future playground minimizes classroom distractions, while clerestory openings on both the front and back facades facilitate natural ventilation, creating a wind tunnel effect. The high ceilings enhance the spacious and open feel of the environment, and the cantilevered ceilings over the passageways allow for easy movement without obstructions.

We were honored to welcome an esteemed group of special guests to the opening ceremony of our new school. Their presence underscored the significance of this initiative and the collective effort to enhance education in our community.
